You are forced to turn off the PC, unplug the printer from the PC and then reboot, and it starts up fine. In fact it siezes in boot and won't respond to the F2, F12, Esc, or even Ctrl+Alt+Del commands. If the Printer is plugged in at boot, the PC would not boot up completely. The REAL PROBLEM is in the PC recognizing the Printer. When it did work I was able to calibrate and print test pages and everything from the printer itself was satisfactory. The PC came with "Windows Vista Home Premium" installed and the printer came with a Win Vista compatible install disk.
